Offline Therapy stands for many things, the foremost being an intentional shift away from the false connection and empty busyness brought about by our society becoming increasingly more “online”. It signifies a return to human connection, to the practice of resilience and dedication to enact change in ones life. Offline Therapy operates primarily in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
While online therapy services can be beneficial, convenience often comes at the cost of lasting change or opportunities to shift ourselves into healthier states.
The mission of Offline Therapy is to work with individuals and couples to help them increase the quality of their connections and enable them to retake control of their minds and lives from the forces that pull every-which-way.
The Therapist
Zachariah Garney, LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) has been practicing the craft of Therapy since 2020, through working with clients and mentoring others who are in the early phases of becoming mental health professionals.
Zachariah works from a systemic viewpoint, which means that he works to take into account the interactions between people and relationships that can help or hinder a client’s work.
Zachariah has been described as supportive, firm, and warm in a way that helps others to turn inward and develop understanding for themselves and the changes they need to make in order to achieve their goals.
The Clients
While many different types of clients would benefit from working with Offline Therapy, clients who have the following would thrive in this work.
- Dedication to working through discomfort to achieve change.
- Understanding that lasting change takes time and effort.
- Willingness to work outside of session to break cycles of habit.
- Commitment to openness and honesty in therapeutic sessions.
These qualities are what you would need to build in order to find lasting change.
